Job description
1.Responsible for strategic planning and execution of marketing strategy for Emerson’s Drive business in China.
2.Interfacing the market place to identify Drives market trends including recognizing the market segments that are growing or declining, and how these segments performances are affected by various stakeholders that are related to economics, politics, governmental policies, etc.
3.A member of the New Product Development team who holds the responsibilities of carrying customer research using the ‘Voice of Customer’ methodologies from the qualifying to creating/refining the Product/Service concept as well quantifying preferences and responses.
Actively participating in the Emerson Worldwide Drives Strategic Marketing Group.
4.Collect and report on-going Chinese market data especially in industry sectors.
5.Continuously determine and outline the specific Chinese working requirements for our new generation of High Performance & General Purpose drives
6.Contribute to the Product Roadmap workings and manage the entire Strategic Planning & Marketing process
6.Determine and manage the “Price & Place” fundamentals for the Chinese market and build a stronger drives brand
7.Provide the Strategic Marketing leadership to grow sales in China
Requirement
1.Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Automation Engineering
MBA is an added advantage
2.With experience of 5 years or more in the Industrial Automation market in particular Drives
3.Commercial or Sales background with strong technical overview on automation. Hands-on experience on technical job experience is welcome
4.Proven leadership qualities with broad background in multi-disciplinary groups of people
