Aplication Engineer
Main Responsibilities:
-Provide technical and engineering support to sales offices and customers
-Review customer specifications and drawings (on-lines, elevations and schematics), for correctness and completeness and resolve discrepancies
-Participate in customer negotiations and final documentation of all contract terms
-Responsible for verifying that the customer’s purchase order, commercial terms and conditions, price sheets and quotation
-Develop the necessary electrical schematics and instruction for drafting
-Communicate with suppliers and initiate purchase requisition for special material
-Provide assistance and coordination with manager and supervisor with expeditor -Coordinate activities during manufacturing, assembly, test, revisions, and managing the commercial aspects of the order
-Provides training for new employees, sales trainees, sales office personnel, etc.
-Seek opportunities to acquire new skills and knowledge
-Support the application engineering manager with data necessary for all pricing and commercial decisions
-Ensures thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures as well as process improvement
-Take into account global impact on local activities and decisions
Qualifications:
-B. S or equivalent degree in engineering or similar majors
-5+ years working experience in automation industry
-Good understanding and experience using and interpreting the national Electric Code
-Familiar with Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations, etc.
-Proficient commercial skills, communication skill, and organizational skills are required
-Customer service oriented
-Innovative, strong leadership skills and critical thinking
