Introduction

ACLS-DLL1 is a collection of DLLs for NuDAQ ISA-bus digital I/O cards ACL-7120, ACL-7122, ACL-7124, ACL-7125, ACL-7130, ACL-7225, and PET-48DIO. ACLS-DLL2 is a collection of DLLs for NuDAQ ISA-bus multi-function cards ACL-6126, ACL-6128, ACL-8111, ACL-8112, ACL-8113, ACL-8216, and ACL-8316/12. NDS-DLL6 is a DLL software for NuDAM 6000 series modules.

Built into these software are sophisticated memory, interrupt handling, and DMA capabilities that free developers from having to deal with those complex issues. The functions use intuitive names that reflect the operations they perform.

For example, W_8112_AD_Set_Channel sets the A/D reading channel. That is, ACLS-DLL1/DLL2 and NDS-DLL6 are constructed to provide a simple programming interface for communication with NuDAQ ISA-bus cards or NuDAM 6000 series modules.

Using these DLL software also lets you take advantage of the power and features of Microsoft Windows environment for your data acquisition applications. These include running multi-tasking, using extended memory, graphical user interface, etc. Also, using them with the Visual programming environment such Visual Basic and Borland Delphi makes it easy to create custom user interface and graphics.

The ACLS-DLL1/DLL2 and NDS-DLL6 software are standard Windows DLLs. They can be used with all Windows programming language that support DLLs, including Microsoft Visual C/C++, Visual Basic, Borland C++, Delphi, etc. A complete set of Microsoft Visual C/C++ and Visual Basic example programs clarify the use of each provided function. Also you are welcome to modify them to fit your requirements for saving development effort and time.
