      • A two-channel strain-gage expansioncard for OMEGA’s OMB-LOGBOOKand OMB-DAQBOARD-2000 Seriesdata acquisition systems. TheOMB-DBK16 is a general-purposecard that accommodates theconnection of most strain-gage types,from single-element quarter-bridgesto 4-element full bridges. TheOMB-DBK16 also includes provisionsfor bridge completion resistors andprovides four adjustments on eachof its two channels. You can adjustexcitation voltage, input gain, offsetnulling and output scaling. Up to128 OMB-DBK16 boards can beconnected to one OMB-LOGBOOKor OMB-DAQBOARD-2000 Series.For applications of 5 or morechannels, use the 8-channelOMB-DBK43A strain-gage module.

      Excitation Regulator
      The OMB-DBK16 accepts user-suppliedexcitation input voltagefrom 12 to 16 V on each channel.
      Itson-board excitation regulator can beadjusted from 1.5 to 10.5 Vdc.

      Excitation Sources
      The 12 to 16 Vdc external excitationsource required by the OMB-DBK16can be supplied by the
      OMB-DBK30Arechargeable battery/excitationmodule or by a user-supplied source.

      Coupling & Filtering
      Each channel of the OMB-DBK16offers switch-selectable AC or DCcoupling between the input amplifiercircuits and the filter stages. Aselectable three-pole low-pass filterwith a cus-tomizable cutofffrequency is also provided.
