      • The OM-EL-WIFI-ALERT is a stand-alone monitoringsystem for all OM-EL-WIFI Series data loggers. TheOM-EL-WIFI-ALERT will receive alarm messages fromany OM-EL-WIFI Series temperature and humidity datalogger connected to the same wireless network. TheOM-EL-WIFI-ALERT indicates an alarm activation usinghigh brightness LEDs and a choice of nine alarm tones.The OM-EL-WIFI-ALERT continues to work when the nnPC is turned off.

      The OM-EL-WIFI-ALERT has been designed to becontinuously powered via the included AC poweradaptor. However it does contain a rechargeable lithiumpolymer battery for device positioning and limited powerduring the event of a power failure.

      The WiFi signal strength indicator is activated bypressing the OM-EL-WIFI-ALERT button three times.All LEDs and a fast beep indicate a strong signal.Limited LEDs and slow beep indicate a weak signal.

      The audible alarm can be muted by pressing theOM-EL-WIFI-ALERT button once or remotely from thePC software. There is also a configurable auto-mutefunction.

      Set-up is completed through software installed on thePC. This software is available to download for free fromOMEGA online. Free firmware downloads are alsoavailable.

      After initial set-up, audible and visual alerts can bere-configured wirelessly using the PC software.

      The OM-EL-WIFI-ALERT can be attached to a wallor flat surface using the bracket provided, and has aprotection rating of IP44 (with cable connected).
