      • The OM-EL-DATAPAD allows usersof compatible OM-EL-USB Seriesdata loggers to configure their unitsand download data and viewlogging results on-the spot ratherthan removing the logger from theenvironment being measured andtaking it to their PC.This allows continual logging withshorter breaks in data collection,less travel for the user, on-site datacollection in graph, legend andsummary format and the ability forusers to reconfigure loggers in “thefield”. The logger is connected to theOM-EL-DATAPAD via a standardUSB port at the top of the viewer.Once connected, the user is guidedthrough a simple touchscreen menuwith options to set-up logger, stoplogger and download and view data.

      On-screen instructions followthe same structure as theOM-EL-WIN-USB software forPC currently provided witheach data logger. Data fromup to 100 loggers can beviewed on the OM-EL-DATAPAD,with data from a further 400units stored on the unit at anyone time.Data can be transferred to a PCusing a micro USB cable suppliedwith the unit. Once uploaded, datais saved in comma separatedvariable (csv) format, making itsuitable for import into spreadsheetpackages such as Microsoft Excel orgraphed on a PC using theOM-EL-WIN-USB software.
