Voltage is one of the mostfundamental and useful types ofmeasurement performed today. Many scientific instruments andsensors provide a voltage outputthat represents the magnitude ofsome parameter being measuredsuch as temperature, pH, flow rate, pressure, strain, etc.
The OM-CP-VOLT101A providesa low cost solution for addingrecording capability to an alreadyexisting measurement system. Itshigh accuracy and 16-bit resolutionplace this product at the forefront forlow level DC voltage recordingdevices. This device is ideal for accuratelymeasuring and recording batteryvoltages, sensor output signals, photovoltaic studies, as well asmany other low level DC voltagesources. With user programmableengineering units, the user canscale the input voltage to most anytype of unit desired automatically. This is a unique and very usefulfeature for presentations.
The OM-CP-VOLT101A is availablein four different input ranges:160 mV, 2.5V, 15V and 30Vversions.Data retrieval is simple. Plug thedevice into an available COM portand our easy-to-use software doesthe rest. The software converts aPC into a real-time strip chartrecorder. Data can be printed ingraphical and tabular format orexported to a text or MicrosoftExcel file.
