      • The DPT35 digital counter-timer isdesigned to be used with OMEGA™(or similar) meters and flow sensorsthat produce a pulse signal. It istypically used in water treatmentand chemical dosing applications,most often in cooling towers andboilers. The DPT35 serves as eithera single or a dual timer, dependingon whether one or both of itsindependent accumulators andtimers are used.When the DPT35 is used as asingle timer, the accumulator countsthe pulses coming from the meter.When a pre-set number of pulseshas been reached, output powerturns on for a set time, and then thecycle repeats.For applications requiring dualtimers (typically, one chemicalfeed and one water bleed), bothaccumulators and timers are set tooperate independently, even thoughinput is from a single meter or flowsensor. A sequential function canbe selected to lock one timer outwhile the other is operating, thisprevents feed and bleed fromoccurring simultaneously.
