      • The FDT500 Series comprisesadvanced-technology water flowmeters. This series uses transittimeultrasonic technology inwhich the signal is transmittedand received alternately between2 flow sensors and the “time offlight” determines the flow rate. Thebattery-powered transmitter comesin the user’s choice of an integrallymounted display or a remotemountversion. Applications includeboth commercial and consumablewater measurement. Long-termstability and a wide measurementrange make it possible not only tomeasure water consumption, butalso to monitor systems for waterleakage. Because the FDT500Series has no moving parts,system pressure loss is minimaland filtration is not required.Display flow rate or total at thepush of a button. Installation isaided by 150-lb ANSI flangesin sizes from 2 to 8" or32 to 200 DN.
