The FMI-100 Series is forflowmeters and controllers withanalog 0 to 5, 5 to 10, 0 to 10 Vdcor 4 to 20 mA input output interface, where flow indications/control,totalizers or alarm functions arerequired. Also when re-transmissionof the flow rate and/or totalizerfunctions via optically-isolated pulseoutput or serial communication isdesired. Local or programmable setpoint control for flow controllers (nohost PC presence required). The graphical LCD has large13 mm (0.51") digits for flow rateand 5.5 mm (0.21") for total and canbe set by user to simultaneouslyshow different combination of theflow parameters: flow rate, totalizers, flow alarms, anddiagnostic events. All configurationparameter settings are easilyaccessed via a simple user-interfacemenu driven by a 6 button key-padwhich can be password-protected.For flowmeters and/or flowcontrollers, FMI-100 providesjumpers selectable for 0 to 5 Vdc or4 to 20 mA analog set point controlsignals. The flow rate set point canbe adjusted locally via key-pad,remotely via host PC using digitalcommunication interface, orprogrammed in advance usingbuilt-in 16 steps batch table withramping up/down support. The programmable flow pulseoutput operates independentlyfrom the totalizers and based onconfiguration settings can providepulse frequency proportional toinstantaneous fluid flow rate. TheFMI-100 provides two independentprogrammable flow totalizers. Both totalizers are updated every100 ms and can be set to activatedifferent events. Main totalizeraccumulated total is backed-upin EEPROM memory everysecond. And it provides the userwith a flexible alarm/warningsystem that monitors the fluidflow for conditions that fall outsideconfigurable limits as well as visualfeedback for the user via the LCDor via an optically-isolated output. All process data and settings canbe read and modified manually vialocal LCD key-pad or through thedigital RS232 or RS485communication interface. ProprietaryASCII software interface commandset and free Communication Utilitysoftware are provided.
