      • The DHT-40 is a pen style hardnesstester. It has premium integratedelectronics packaged into aneasily portable pocket sized casewhich includes the impact device.State-of-the-art technology givesextraordinarily high accuracy.

      TheDHT-40 uses the Leeb method tomeasure hardness of any metalor surface for a wide variety ofindustrial purposes. The Leebmethod is noted for its accuracy,wide measuring range andoperating simplicity.

      The DHT-40hardness pen conforms to theStandard ASTM A956 and comeswith a USB cable and software forPC downloading of data. A ruggedcarrying case and test block arealso included.
