Introduction
PCM-9372是一款尺寸紧凑的3.5”单板电脑，板载VIA低功耗Eden处理器。VIA Eden处理器采用先进的0.15μ/0.13μCOMS技术，内嵌128KB一级缓存及64KB二级缓存。PCM-9372可无风扇工作，工作温度最高60℃（1400F），在多个外设同时工作的情况下，典型功耗低于12瓦。该产品整合4倍速AGP控制器、AC’97音频接口、1个PCI以太网接口及2通道LVDS接口。还可通过PC/104模块接口，支持ISA接口模块升级。其他板载功能还包括LPT、2个USB接口及2个串口：1个RS-232及1个RS-232/422/485。还可支持CompactFlash?卡I/II型SSD解决方案。同时，通过PCM-9372的高速PC/104接口，可扩展更多的功能控制卡，有效用作嵌入式控制器。藉功能强大、可无风扇工作的处理器及稳固型系统芯片组，PCM-9372为医疗设备及其他可靠耐久应用需求，提供了完美的核心技术。此外，散热问题处理方面，可选择散热片或扁平状的散热槽；同时，因为CPU和芯片组都安装在焊缝一侧，也可设计专用机箱，以起到散热槽作用。

The real estate is well-packed on this tightly designed 3.5" single board computer (SBC) with an onboard new VIA embedded low power Eden processor. The VIA Eden processor uses advanced 0.15?0.13?CMOS technology with 128KB L1 cache memory and 64KB L2 cache memory on die. This board can operate without a fan at temperatures up to 60?C (140?F) and typically consumes under 12 Watts while supporting numerous peripherals. This SBC includes a 4X AGP controller, an AC'97 audio interface, a PCI Ethernet interface, and 2 channel LVDS interface. Its design is based on the 3.5" SBC form factor that supports the PC/104 interface for ISA module upgrades. Other on-board features include an LPT, 2USBs, and 2 serial ports: 1 RS-232, and 1 RS-232/422/485. The SSD solution supports CompactFlash? cardsType I and Type II.The board is effective for use as an embedded controller, through its ability to add more custom control cards through its fast PC/104 socket. The PCM-9372's powerful, fanless processor choices and solid system chipset make it a perfect core technology for medical equipment and other long life applications. There are choices for heatsinks: finned, or flat, or, since the CPU and chipset are mounted on the solder side, you can design a chassis that also serves heatsink duty.
