Graduated from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in 1961 and qualified as a chartered accountant, Henri started his career as Arthur Andersen Auditor in 1963, then Manager of the Audit Department. In1970, Henri served as Strategic Planning then General Manager - Compagnie Industrielle et Financière de Pompey. In 1976, he acted as Director and COO of Forges de Strasbourg, a subsidiary of Pompey. From 1981 to 1998, he acted respectively as Chairman and CEO of Forges de Strasbourg renamed Strafor Facom in 1990 and Director & COO Manager of Pompey. Since 1999, he has been Chairman and CEO of Schneider Electric SA (previously Schneider SA), Chairman and CEO of Schneider Electric Industries SA (previously Schneider Electric SA).
